BEFORE WE START…

<aside> 📌 This UI/UX Case Study is part of the group's final project from Skilvul Virtual Internship. For our Final Project, we had the flexibility to select a design challenge from various companies, including Skilvul's own Design Challenge. I opted for Skilvul, and our task involved crafting a website design for an on-demand mentor service.

My Contribution & Role

In this UI/UX case study, I took on the roles of Team Leader, UX Researcher, and Designer. As the Team Leader, my responsibility is pivotal—I drive progress, manage the team, lead meetings, and ensure the harmony of members' concerns, responsibilities, and teamwork. I am also equally distributing tasks based on individual skills of my members.

My Contribution as a UX Researcher is digging into user pain points, processing data, and translating findings into solutions. Additionally, I conducted User Testing toward the project's conclusion. In my role as a Designer, I transformed insights into design solutions through the creation of wireframes and prototypes using Figma.

The Team

This project was a collaborative effort involving me and 2 individuals with diverse backgrounds, all sharing the same interest in UI/UX

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Skilvul is an education technology platform, that uses a "blended-learning" approach for digital skills lessons online and offline.

The challenge arises from the common online course structure, where there are often more students than mentors, limiting one-on-one interactions. This can make students feel less guided in their learning.

To address this issue, Skilvul aims to introduce "Mentor on Demand," a service designed to enable students to schedule sessions with mentors for assistance in coding and UI/UX learning. The primary goal of this service is to provide students with the opportunity to receive personalized guidance, ensuring a more thorough and effective learning experience. The Mentor on Demand initiative reflects Skilvul's commitment to enhancing the educational journey by fostering direct mentor-student interactions and promoting a supportive and guided learning environment.
